French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Gabon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo and Angola from March 1 to 5 to strengthen bilateral ties. Visiting hours are as follows:
March 1-2: Macron will visit Libreville, Gabon, to attend the One Forest Summit on the conservation and development of forests in the Congo Basin.
March 2: Macron will visit Luanda, Angola, to launch a Franco-Angolan association on agriculture.
March 2: Macron will visit Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo
March 3-4: Macron will visit Kinshasa, DR Congo, to deepen Franco-Congolese relations in education, health, research, culture and defense.
Keep in mind that there are likely to be anti-French protests in the cities Macron will visit; African security personnel will go on high alert.
