Investigators of the investigative department of the city of Petrozavodsk of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Karelia opened a criminal case for the commission of hooligan acts with the use of violence in the Lotos Plaza shopping center, the press service from the The Republican Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on March 2 on the official Internet portal.
The suspect of hooligan actions was arrested. The investigation believes that he, for hooligan reasons, struck a 17-year-old teenager several times, causing him physical pain. Investigation proceedings are being carried out to clarify the circumstances. The question of choosing an immobilization measure for the suspect is being decided.
Recall that on the eve of the second half of the day in front of the “Lotus Plaza” shopping center there was a group of teenagers and police officers. According to the media, citing law enforcement sources, the police went to the scene after the plans of the minors belonging to the PMC Ryodan movement to meet in the shopping center at night were known on social networks. The police did not arrest anyone. They talked to the teenagers and dispersed.
That same night, shortly after, a fight broke out inside the Lotos Plaza shopping center. The media reported that a group of teenagers belonging to the Ryodan movement beat up a classmate who was supposed to be an “anti-ryodan”.
