The foreign ministers of Russia and China accused Western countries of using “blackmail and threats” to demand unilateral positions.
Speaking on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in New Delhi, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chinese counterpart Qin Gang “unanimously rejected attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, to impose unilateral positions through blackmail and threats.”
The joint statement by Moscow and Beijing was circulated through a statement by Russian diplomacy.
The G20 meeting in the Indian capital started at the beginning of the week and is completing the work that was marked by the situation in Ukraine.
