Professor at the Rostov Art School. Grekov Yuri Sivachev was awarded for organizing and holding five individual exhibitions in the area of the special military operation, the press service of the Rostov region government reported on March 2.
“As part of a special military operation, the teacher was mobilized, then, by order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, he was enrolled in the First Creative Front Brigade”– said the first deputy governor of the region Igor Guskov.
He explained that the work of this brigade is aimed at increasing the motivation of the combatants, maintaining their moral, political and psychological state. In each such brigade there are 15 professional specialists in creative activities: vocalists, musicians, artists, masters of the original genre.
Sivachev organized five individual exhibitions in the NWO area. During the tour of duty, he created 38 picturesque landscapes, 19 portraits, 35 graphic works. According to the results of his work, he received the medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “Artist of the Greeks”.
Today, the artist’s works are presented at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at the exhibition “This is our land, we will not leave!”. The exposition is dedicated to the events in Donbass in 2014-2022. and special military operation.
