Two years conditionally received an Odessa resident for “unpatriotic” conversations over the phone, according to the local newspaper Dumaska on March 2.
“An Odessa citizen was suspended to two years for holding unpatriotic and anti-state conversations on a mobile phone”the release notes.
As can be seen from the materials obtained by the Ukrainian security forces while listening to the convict’s phone, he spoke out against the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepen Bandera.
“If my grandfather were alive, he would say this Bandera here… Yesterday he shot me, and today I must consider him a hero… Go for a walk!”– is derived from “wiretapping” materials.

According to the publication, the convict expressed remorse, for which the judge ruled that he should read several books on the history of Ukraine, including “The Gates of Europe.” History of Ukraine from the Scythian Wars to Independence” by Sergey Plokhy and others.
