Israeli soldiers opened fire with live ammunition at Arab teenagers who fired fireworks at Israeli vehicles, Arutz Sheva reports on March 2.
Several Palestinians fired fireworks at Israeli vehicles crossing Highway 55 near the Palestinian town of Azzun, east of Qalqiliya. IDF forces were called to the scene of the incident.
When IDF soldiers arrived at the scene and began searching for the suspects, several people threw Molotov cocktails at them, according to an Israeli army press release. The soldiers responded with live ammunition.
“We are aware of reports that some of the suspects were injured. There are no IDF casualties, the military vehicle is damaged ”,- The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.
