US presidential candidate Nikki Haley vowed not to provide financial assistance to countries that oppose the United States in any way in an interview with Just the News on March 2.
Haley recalled that the United States provides billions of dollars in foreign aid to other countries. In his opinion, this not only contradicts the US agenda, but also actively works to undermine it.
Haley said that after the UN condemned the move of the US embassy to Jerusalem, his office staff compiled a summary listing, for each UN member state, the voting history (unless for or against US interests) and the amount of US funding. This summary was then put on Trump’s table, and he was outraged at the wasteful spending.
“We need to be smart about how we provide assistance. We provided $46 billion in foreign aid last year,” Hailey said. “We give money assuming we can buy friends. But you can’t buy friends. We need to stop giving money to countries that say ‘Death to America’.”Haley continued.
He recalled that the United States is financing Iraq, where the “sit down and hold hands with the Iranians who say this”Pakistan, “which used to house terrorists who killed our soldiers”. And also China, Cuba and Zimbabwe – “the most anti-American country in the UN”according to Haley.
“As president, I will stop all this”Hayley promised, stating that friendly countries should be funded.
Let’s remember that Nikki Haley officially announced her participation in the election of the US presidential candidate for the Republican Party. Haley was the governor of South Carolina and then, under Trump, the US ambassador to the UN.
