Twins Christy and Chelsea Cowley, 8, and sister Lisa Cash, 18, were killed this Saturday in a knife attack on their home in Dublin, Ireland.
According to the Dublin Live website, the suspect in the crimes is a 24-year-old man known to the family, who reportedly threw the twins out of a house’s ground floor window after seriously injuring the twins.
The 14-year-old fourth brother, whose identity has not been released, jumped out of a window and called the police. When the police managed to enter the house, they fired non-fatal shots and found the man hiding in the attic of the house.
Witnesses cited by the Mirror newspaper say they saw the police “pull” the man out of the house, and the children and teenager were taken to the hospital, where they eventually died.
The 14-year-old brother remains under observation but out of danger.
