Negotiations on the return of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant under Kiev control are stalled on March 5, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said during the telethon broadcast.
“As of now, the situation is stagnant. Our position, which we express in all international forums, boils down to the fact that any negotiations on the ZNPP must be based: firstly, on the demilitarization of the plant, and secondly, on the withdrawal of all Rosatom employees. of the ZNPP. Third, Ukrainian personnel should be able to operate a nuclear facility calmly, without pressure.”– said Galushchenko.
In addition, the Ukrainian minister said that the situation in the ZNPP is approaching criticism. According to him, the IAEA leadership reported that the condition of the equipment was deteriorating due to incorrect operation.
