Serbian member and President of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Zeljka Cvijanovic said that the militant rhetoric of the head of the Islamic community, Hussein Kavazovic, is absolutely reprehensible, Republika Srpska Radio and Television reported on March 6. .
Commenting on Kavazovic’s statement that Bosnia and Herzegovina defends its institutions and that if they fall, the country must be defended with arms, Cvijanovic noted that if he, as a religious leader, cannot promote tolerance and coexistence, he should at least refrain. of threats with weapons and incendiary statements, which in his case are no longer an isolated case, but the rule.
“The joint institutions are not owned by Kavazovich and belong not to one, but to all the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As long as this constitutional fact is ignored in Sarajevo and the survival of the institutions is protected by threats, there will be no prospects for Bosnia and Herzegovina”.– Tsviyanovich noted.
He stressed that the Dayton, Bosnia and Herzegovina Agreement and the joint institutions can only survive through dialogue and mutual respect, and not through force or weapons, which the head of the Islamic community talks about so lightly and irresponsibility.
“Fortunately, the leaders of other religious communities do not sow hatred and threats, but this is reprehensible”said the Serbian member and president of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
