Recent visits and talks between International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officials and Iran could pave the way for improvements in talks to revive the Iran nuclear deal. This was stated by the official representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, on March 6, reports IRNA.
Kanaani stressed that the Islamic Republic adheres to diplomatic solutions in this matter. Recent talks between International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officials and Iran could pave the way for improved negotiations to restore the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said.
Iran remains committed to reviving the 2015 nuclear deal, so IAEA Secretary General Rafael Grossi’s visit to Tehran is part of that policy.
Kanaani stressed that Iran has used all political and legal mechanisms to defend its interests, while time and again drawing attention to its rights under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
