A survey of residents of the Kalmykian capital Elista, which took place from February 15 to 28, which resulted in a preliminary vote for the improvement of public urban areas by 2024, identified three of them: a square near the Rodina cultural center , a square in the village of Arshan along Mira street and a square in front of the “Motherland” Cultural Center. After the first stage of voting, the number of votes was distributed as follows: the square near the Rodina cultural center – 378 proposals, the square in the village of Arshan along Mira street – 285 proposals, the square in front of the Rodina Cultural Center – 225 proposals.
The next round of voting will take place from April 15 to May 31, 2023. Citizens will have to choose to improve only one of these three territories.
In 2023, within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”, it is planned to improve the Alley of Heroes.
