The growing popularity of phone apps to treat illnesses among residents of Japan was noted on March 7 by NHK.
As an example, NHK cites the development of the Susmed company, which supposedly gives recommendations for sleep. It should be noted that the application has passed clinical trials and received permission from the Japanese Ministry of Health for commercial distribution.
After that, the doctors were able to prescribe patients not to take medicine, but to follow the recommendations of the application. The device records the sleep time and sleepiness of the patients, and based on them, it predicts the time when the user should go to rest.
The company plans to leverage relationships with drug marketing companies to promote its mobile app.
It should be noted that in addition to this application, the Ministry of Health has also approved the use of two more programs for phones. One of them is already available to the country’s population and supposedly helps treat problems associated with hypertension.
