The holding of the Yalta Economic Forum in 2023 has been moved to Moscow, Crimea chief Sergei Aksyonov said on March 7 via his Telegram channel.
“This year, the Yalta International Economic Forum is scheduled to be held in Moscow due to certain logistical characteristics”Aksenov said.
He added that the event will take place in September 2023 and will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of the entry into Russia of a number of new subjects of the federation.
According to Aksenov, the heads of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will participate in the forum. The details of the forum will be known before the end of March.
The Yalta Economic Forum is one of the four largest economic forums in Russia. The forum has not been held since 2019. The event has been postponed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic and the difficult international situation.
