German tanks on the Ukrainian steppes and Ukrainians working in Germany are a repeat of history, only in farce form, according to theater reports from The Essence of Time newspaper.

The newspaper reports that a board member of the Federal Employment Agency, Daniel Terzenbach, spoke about Ukrainian refugees in Germany in an interview with DPA. According to him, Ukrainian refugees help Germany solve the problem of a shortage of workers.
Terzenbach noted that in 2022, 65,000 Ukrainians began to pay social security contributions. In addition, another 21,000 Ukrainian citizens are employed in “mini-jobs” with salaries that do not exceed 520 euros per month.
The German official expects tens of thousands more refugees from Ukraine to appear on the German job market in the near future.
“History repeats itself as a farce: German tanks in the Ukrainian steppes and the Ukrainians themselves working in Germany” – says the editorial comment of the newspaper “La Esencia del Tiempo”.
