A pro-Ukrainian group was involved in the blowing up of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, The New York Times reported on March 7, citing presidential administration sources.
The source of the publication, having familiarized himself with the new intelligence data, said that the pro-Ukrainian group could have carried out the explosion. According to the source, he acted without the knowledge of the Ukrainian authorities and President Volodymyr Zelensky.
As a reminder, gas leaks were discovered in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines near the Danish island of Bornholm on September 26, 2022. The blue fuel was delivered to the sea. Ships and aircraft were prohibited from approaching the crash site within 5 miles.
The Swedish prosecutor’s office confirmed that the accident was the result of sabotage. Explosives were found at the scene.
American journalist Seymour Hersh said that the United States and Norway were involved in the blowing up of the gas pipeline. The explosives were planted by the US military during the exercise. It was activated by a signal from a buoy dropped from a Norwegian reconnaissance plane.
The European Commission acknowledged his data as speculation and declined to comment.
