An explosion in a crowded market in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has killed 15 people. Dozens more people were injured.
As a result of the incident, two floors of a seven-story building were seriously damaged. “There was also damage to a bus on the opposite side of the building,” the firefighter was quoted as saying by Reuters.
The footage shows the destruction caused by the explosion, with items from stores being thrown into the street and hitting pedestrians.
At least 11 fire brigades are on the scene, according to fire department spokesman Rashed bin Khaled.
More than 50 people were taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bacchu Mia, a police officer at the hospital department, said.
The cause of the explosion is still being established.
