Police officers detained six protesters in Tbilisi. This was reported on March 7 by the press service of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“In the evening, after the end of the plenary session, the participants of the demonstration tried to block one of the entrances to the parliament, which the police did not allow them to do. At the same time, there was violence against ministry employees, including various objects being thrown in their direction.”says the message.
Law enforcement officers are noted to have used proportionate force. Protesters are warned that non-compliance with the law will be punished.
Remember that protesters in Tbilisi throw stones and Molotov cocktails at police officers. One of the burning bottles flew into the window of the parliament building. The protest stems from the fact that parliament is passing a bill that requires foreign agents to report financial activities.
