Three people died this Thursday in a mine in the Spanish region of Catalonia in an accident this morning, local emergency services said.
The three victims are workers at a company that operates a potash (salt) mine in Suria, located on the outskirts of Barcelona, 70 km northwest of the Catalan city.
Workers were trapped at a depth of 900 meters due to an accident that caused a landslide in one of the shafts of the mine, according to the same sources of emergency rescue teams, cited by various Spanish media.
