“I want to explain why I say Ronaldo is the best of all. Not only because he is our brother, but also because I like his work ethic,” the Frenchman explained on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel.
“God gave Messi talent and Cristiano had to work. He also has talent, but he works hard. If Messi had the work ethic of Cristiano Ronaldo, he would probably have 15 Ballons d’Or today. I love people who work hard. That’s why I prefer Ronaldo Messi,” added the former defender, who played with Ronaldo and Rio Ferdinand at Manchester United.
