A three-year-old girl accidentally killed her four-year-old sister Sunday when she fired a gun in Houston, Texas.
According to Fox Newsthe children were alone in one of the rooms of the house where they lived when the tragedy occurred shortly before 8 p.m., Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said at a press conference.
There were also five adults in the apartment, including the girls’ parents. In accordance with Fox Newsone parent thought the other was looking after the girls.
Alone in that room of the house, a three-year-old girl found a loaded gun and shot her sister. The family members heard the shot and ran into the room. Arriving there, they took the gun and called the authorities.
The death was pronounced on the spot. The crime is under investigation.
