16 schools will be built in the Rostov region within two years, the region’s governor Vasily Golubev announced on March 13 on the Don 24 TV channel.
“There is a lot of work ahead. During these two years, 16 schools for 14,000 places must be built in the region”.Golubev pointed out.
The Governor stressed that priority will be given to the creation of schools in the microdistricts of Rostov-on-Don. It is also a priority to reduce the number of students who study in the second shift.
Golubev stressed the importance of not only building schools, but also ensuring their operation. For this, educational institutions will license and purchase the necessary equipment for them.
In 2022, five new schools for 1,400 students began operating in the Rostov region. In addition, 21 kindergartens were put into operation, attended by more than 2,600 children.
