The amount of financing for the gasification of the Kaluga region will exceed 25 billion rubles, the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha said on March 13, the press service of the government of the region reports.
Shapsha noted that in 2020 the region and Gazprom signed a five-year agreement on the development of gas supply to the region. In 2021, the program parameters were significantly expanded to include new settlements, additional gas pipelines, and boiler rooms. The total amount of financing of the work will exceed 25 billion rubles.
“On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, free gasification of homes is being carried out. The conditions have been created to connect almost 7,000 homes to the network. We have opted for a discount of up to 100,000 rubles for the purchase and connection of equipment. The work must be carried out at a rapid pace.”Shapsha said.
Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services Vyacheslav Yurkov noted that in two years 216 km of gas pipelines were built in the region, street gas pipelines were built in 34 settlements. The technical possibility of gasification of more than 1.6 thousand homes and apartments has been created. The current level of gasification in the region is 80.7%.
By the end of 2024, the total number of homes connected to gas as part of the additional gasification program will be around 15,000 homes. At the same time, the region’s gasification level will be 84.5%, Yurkov noted.
Let us remember that in November 2022 the Gasification and Gas Supply Development Program was adjusted for the period 2021-2025.
The volume of work approximately doubled, the number of settlements to which gas will be supplied increased to 500. A technical possibility for gasification of about 25 thousand homes will be created, 49 boiler rooms will be built or converted to fuel gas. .
It should be noted that in 2023, in the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the social gasification program became indefinite. Moreover, it extends not only to residential buildings, but also to socially significant facilities, educational and medical institutions.
