Some of the delegates who spoke were reported to have demanded that Cuba be removed from Washington’s list of countries that support terrorism.
On November 2 and 3, 2022, for the thirtieth time since 1992, the UN General Assembly discussed a resolution demanding that Washington immediately lift the blockade on Cuba.
185 states voted in favor of the resolution, with Ukraine and Brazil abstaining and the United States and Israel voting against it.
