Have you ever thought about giving up toilet paper and how it can be good for the environment? Channon Rose, an American digital content creator, thought about this topic and decided to find an alternative to paper when going to the toilet. These are reusable family rags that TikToker says are greener and more economical.
Channon shared a video on her social media where she explains the whole process without hesitation. The post quickly went viral with over 600,000 views and 80,000 likes.

“I don’t buy toilet paper anymore. We use reusable toilet paper. Some people might think it’s disgusting, but the truth is it’s not,” the influencer said.
According to North Americans, the use of paper eventually becomes dirty. “They tear and stick together,” he said.
TikToker explained that he uses a cloth to clean himself after properly washing himself in a bidet with water. “I feel like I’m cleaning up a lot better,” he said. “After use, the fabric is machine washable like any other piece of clothing.”
With the growing importance of sustainability, there are options on the market to help us reduce our environmental impact. In this case, since toilet paper is an essential commodity used by most people, it pollutes and harms the environment. It was with this in mind that Channon Rose decided to take action and change her daily habits.
The content creator says that in addition to giving up toilet paper, she stopped using tampons and menstrual pads and started using other alternatives.
Several people welcomed the act of an American in the comments to the video. “I thought it was a joke, and now it even seems that it makes sense”; “I think you should wash [os panos] apart from the rest of the clothes”; “I even think I’d like to try it on,” there were some.
