Detained for almost two months in Barcelona, Dani Alves appears to have adjusted to his position, becoming a star at the Brians 2 detention center, according to the Spanish portal Servimedia.
The Brazilian defender saw a Spanish court dismiss an appeal filed by his lawyers to overturn his preventive detention, and most recently a woman, Joana Sanz, filed for divorce. The 39-year-old football player has more than enough reasons to worry about his future.
But the former Barcelona player seems to have taken it all in stride. Servimedia, which initially went through a period of torment, now reports that Dani Alves has integrated perfectly into the prison, becoming a star of sorts in Brian’s 2.
He participates and promotes football matches, receives countless requests for autographs, and many inmates also ask him for sportswear…
Dani Alves was accused of raping a 23-year-old woman on the night of December 30-31 last year at a disco. He has been in custody since January 20.
