The first place in Russia in terms of the number of supported film projects was taken by the Krasnodar Territory, the press service of the regional administration said on March 20 on the official website.
“These figures were achieved thanks to the movie bonus program launched in the region a year ago. In 2022, more than 35 feature films were filmed in the region. In return, the film companies were returned part of the funds spent in the region.says the message.
According to the terms of the program, shooting should take place on the territory of the region in recognizable places.
The total amount of funds spent on films that received support in 2022 amounted to more than 284 million rubles.
It is also planned to create a whole film cluster in the Krasnodar Territory, which will attract producers to the region and increase the production of film projects. Such a pool will be built in Gelendzhik.
It is reported that in 2020 20 film projects were filmed in the region, in 2021 their number reached 30 film projects.
