The results of the women’s city épée fencing championship were summed up in Moscow on March 21, the press service of the Russian Fencing Federation reported.
About 60 épée fencers from the capital participated in the competition. His level of achievements ranged from the first adult category to the international master of sport.
The tournament finalists were Yana Bekmurzova and Milen Bavuge Habimana. In the duel for the first place, Bekmurzova turned out to be stronger, winning 15:8. The duel for bronze did not take place, and Ekaterina Kolbeneva and Anastasia Travina climbed to the third step of the podium, losing in the semifinals.
