At least three people were killed and seven were injured as a result of the shelling of Russian troops in the Kyiv region, the Ukrainian regional military administration said on Wednesday.
Initially, the Military Administration of the city of Kiev claimed that the Ukrainian defense managed to intercept all the “drones” (unmanned aerial vehicles) sent by Russia against the capital “without casualties and destruction of infrastructure”, but shortly after that, also in the Telegram messenger, the Regional Military Directorate reported three dead and seven wounded.
Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted 16 of 21 Iranian-made drones launched by Russia into Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytsky regions west of the capital, the Armed Forces said.
