Additional funds to improve the level of road safety will be sent from the bottom of the Stavropol Territory on March 22, reports the press service and the information policy department of the governor and the government of the region.
According to the head of the region Vladimir Vladimirov, the road fund has additional funds to improve the quality of roads. The money will go toward eliminating emergency areas where accidents most often occur.
“The results of the analysis of the emergency sections and the proposals for their elimination on said routes will be considered separately at a meeting of the regional road safety commission. There are reserves for the purchase of the necessary technical equipment and works to reduce the accident rate in the regional road fund”Vladimirov said.
Remember that the elimination of the emergency section of the road is not limited to the replacement of the asphalt pavement. To reduce the number of accidents, traffic lights are installed, markings are changed, additional lighting is installed, etc.
