Residents of the Rostov region submitted more than 900 proposals to the competition for initiative projects “Let’s do it together”, 400 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for the implementation of the winning projects. This was announced by the deputy of the regional legislative assembly Svetlana Manankina on March 22 on her Telegram channel.
“More than 900 proposals from 17,000 Donetsk residents were submitted for the regional competitive selection of initiative projects”– Manankina said.
Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog and the Chertkovsky district became the leaders in terms of the number of initiatives submitted. From there, 123, 41 and 38 proposals were received, respectively.
Now the local administrations have to verify the compliance of the initiatives with the requirements of the contest. Later, from April 10 to 30, they will select the most relevant projects and send them to the regional competition. The results of the competition will be announced in June.
“Local administrations will receive up to 2 million rubles from the regional budget for the implementation of each winning project. In total, the region will allocate 400 million rubles to support initiative projects.”– Manankina clarified.
“Let’s do it together!” it is a project of the governor to support local initiatives. It has been implemented in the Rostov region since 2019. By participating in the project, citizens determine the directions for spending budget funds, co-finance selected facilities, help in the execution of works and control their quality.
