The damage of the sunken Astrakhan barge in the Karpovsky reservoir was estimated at 35 million rubles, as of March 22, the Rosprirodnadzor press service reports.
In the Volgograd region, in the waters of the Karpovsky reservoir, the barge of the non-metallic company Astrakhan LLC sank. As it turned out, serious violations were committed during the operation of the vessel. The barge sank near the Ilyevka pier.
When Rosprirodnadzor began to conduct tests and take samples of water to study changes in its quality, it turned out that the flooding of the barge was not in vain. This caused damage to the depot for 35 million rubles.
An administrative action was initiated against the responsible person under the article “Violation of the requirements for the protection of water bodies, which can lead to their pollution, clogging and (or) depletion.” It can be punished with a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles.
