Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement about his readiness to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin the supply of flour made from Russian grains to underdeveloped countries in Africa on March 22 in an interview with Turkish media. The interview was broadcast on the Turkish leader’s Twitter page.
Erdogan told reporters about his earlier conversation with Putin about the problem of not taking Russian grain to African countries and the proposed option for the supply of grain from Russia to Turkey, where it will be processed into flour and sent to Africa from this shape.
“You send grain, and we will make flour with it and send it to underdeveloped countries. We have such an agreement. We will have talks in 2-3 days, we will discuss it.”the Turkish leader told reporters.
Erdogan also expressed Turkey’s readiness to take a direct part in bringing Russia’s fertilizers to world markets.
