The possibility of holding international competitions of the highest level was discussed by the head of Kalmykia Batu Khasikov and the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a joint meeting on March 20, the press center of the head of Kalmykia reported.
“I think you, as a professional athlete, will be interested in our sports infrastructure, experience in training athletes in many disciplines, youth physical education organization”– said Lukashenko.
Alexander Lukashenko highlighted the merits and personal experience of Batu Khasikov, who was a professional kickboxer and multiple world champion in this sport.
According to the President of Belarus, the country is always happy to host international competitions of the highest level, as well as individual training camps of Russian teams.
“… we will slowly draw our neighbors to us, as well as the representatives of the Asian and African states. If someone wants Europeans or Latin Americans…”Lukashenko added.
In turn, the head of Kalmykia highly valued the history of relations and their strength as the basis for further development.
