On March 22, its leader, Natalya Novosyolova, spoke about the Asbest-Front volunteer association in a report on the ATV Studio TV channel.
After the start of partial mobilization in 2022, Natalya Novosyolova organized the residents of the city and nearby towns into a movement. “Spetsnaz”. The women began to knit woolen socks, gloves, bibs and send them to the special military operations (SVO) zone. Therefore, on repeated occasions we have received words of gratitude from the fighters.
In addition, in their free time from work and household chores, women weave camouflage nets, make trench sails, sew raincoats, stretchers, balaclavas and other things necessary at the front.
A member of the volunteer association, Elena Osintseva, said that after the mobilization, the desire to help the military immediately arose. “Just sitting at home, watching TV and getting depressed is impossible.”she added. The people around were under stress and it was necessary to unite, to make a common cause to help themselves and the soldiers at the front.
Now the volunteer association includes about 100 residents of Asbest, the villages of Reftinsky, Malyshevo, Izumrud, Belokamenny. In addition to things, women send letters to the fighters, compose poems for them. They put sweets and tea in the socks to “to warm all our fighters at the front with your spiritual warmth”.
Remember that on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation launched a special military operation in Ukraine, the main objectives of which are the denazification and demilitarization of the Ukrainian state.
