The European proposal for an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina includes a clause on the creation of a Union of Serb Municipalities, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on March 23, RTS reported.
He said that article 10 establishes that both parties reaffirm their obligations to fulfill the previous agreements, which remain valid and binding.
“The Union of Municipalities is the 16th treaty, which next month will be 10”declared Kurti, saying that he would have to be treated.
He added that the right of Serbs to self-government would be within the framework of the constitutional system.
“I believe that an appropriate level of self-governance by the Serb community in Kosovo can be worked out for the benefit of all Serbs without jeopardizing the legal and constitutional order of Kosovo”Kurti emphasized.
