The fulfillment of the task of the L-2 course of the Ufa diesel-electric submarine is carried out by the crews of warships and rescue ships, as well as the naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet, reports the press service of the Military District Western on March 23 on the official Internet portal of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The task of the L-2 course is an integral part of the program to prepare a submarine to perform tasks for its intended purpose with the development of combat exercises in various operational and tactical situations. The submariners will conduct damage control exercises to ships at sea, as well as work on the conditional use of torpedoes, mines and rocket weapons.
The submarine crew, as part of the development of the intended course task, will perform solo navigation elements in the fleet combat training areas and conduct a deep-water dive. During the dive, divers will check the operation of all ship systems and mechanisms, draw up the algorithm of actions when controlling a submarine at great depths and with various methods of ascent to the surface.
Remember that Ufa is a diesel-electric submarine of Project 636.3 Varshavyanka. The ship is designed to fight against enemy submarines and ships, as well as to defend naval bases, coastal and maritime communications, and conduct reconnaissance and patrol activities in enemy communications.
