Russia plans to produce more than 100 different aircraft per year starting in 2026, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the annual report in the State Duma of the Russian Federation on March 23, the Russian government’s press service reports.
“Now the main thing is not to slow down the momentum. Including the modernization of production lines”, — Mishustin emphasized.
The Prime Minister noted that some of the new aircraft will be equipped with flight-tested PD-8 engines.
Recall, according to Mishustin, almost 45% of Russian scientists are under 39 years old. The prime minister wished to maintain the direction of the rejuvenation of science, as well as maintain and develop it. Earlier, the head of government of the Russian Federation said that the state debt of the Russian Federation is 15% of GDP. This amount of public debt, according to the Prime Minister, does not represent a threat to the Russian economy.
