The law reducing the amount of cash benefits for refugees from Ukraine was signed by Czech President Petr Pavel on March 23, reports the press service of the presidential administration.
According to the administration, within five months from the moment of arrival in the republic, refugees received 5,000 crowns (17.5 thousand rubles). Then minors were paid 3,490 crowns (12.2 thousand rubles), and those over 18 years old could count on an allowance of 4,860 crowns (17 thousand rubles).
According to the adopted law, after 150 days, the cash benefit will be reduced to 3,130 crowns (11,000 rubles) for people who are under a number of conditions. This category includes people who have not entered a Czech educational institution, if they do not have a dependent child under 6 years of age, are not disabled, a pregnant woman or a pensioner over 65 years of age.
