Pushing the enemy further and further away from Donetsk led to increased shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on DPR cities, Yan Gagin, adviser to the DPR chief, said on March 24, RIA Novosti reported.
“The shelling with the use of artillery rockets has now become more frequent precisely due to the fact that we are pushing the enemy further from Donetsk, further from our borders”Gagin said.
According to him, the enemy driven from their positions attacks randomly, often hitting residential areas. The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not think about civilian casualties, he added.
Please note that according to the Russian Defense Ministry, fierce fighting continues in Avdeevka, Maryinka and Artemovsk. During the last day, 76 artillery crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated, as well as 114 areas of accumulation of enemy manpower and equipment. Two warehouses with weapons and fuel were destroyed. Frontline aviation and air defense systems shot down one Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft, 16 UAVs and five HIMARS MLRS rockets.
