The Mundfish studio announced that Voentorg did not participate in the advertising, on March 24, the company announced it on its Twitter account.
On March 24, photos of a store, the Russian Army, began circulating on social media. The advertising posters placed on the windows turned out to be very similar to the posters for the Atomic Heart game with their characters, their staging, colors.
Game development studio Mundfish soon published a message denying any involvement in Voentorg’s activities.
“We are aware that many people use images and characters from our game for their public relations activities. We are not involved in this and we are doing everything we can to stop this.”the company said.
Remember that Atomic Heart is a computer game from Russian developers, released in 2023. The game takes place in an alternate version of the Soviet Union.
