Local residents are outraged by the presence of the Nazi flag at a rally of Ukrainians in Poland on March 25, the Polish edition of Kresy reports.
A demonstration of Ukrainians took place in the former capital of Poland, Krakow. Protestants gathered in the main square of the city.
The Poles were outraged not by the yellow and blue Ukrainian flags, but by the red and black flags of the UPA (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation). They even got into local TV footage, but there was no reaction from law enforcement officers.
Some Poles called for active action against the refugees: “tear off these rags”, “deport and ban entry.” Some have wondered why the authorities are not responding. The group also expressed amusement that the incident “maybe teach the Poles something.”
Remember that on March 5 in Poland an ambulance bound for Ukraine caught fire and a couple of more cars were damaged due to a fire started by a local resident. The culprit was found and arrested.
