As part of the UN Water Conference, the Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Water Resources, Nizar Baraka, met with the Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Ofir Akunis, to discuss deepening cooperation between the two countries, on March 23, MWN reported.
The meeting of officials is the first since the new Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu came to power.
The current United Nations Conference on Water, the first in five decades, will take place in New York from March 22-24.
