The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) canceled the attack on the city of Svatovo (LPR) this weekend, said military expert Vitaliy Kiselyov, on March 25, TASS reports.
“In Svatovo and Kremennaya, we received information that in the areas of the settlements of Borovaya, Podliman, Nizhnyaya Zhuravka, Boguslavka, this is in the area of the Oskol reservoir, just two or three days ago enemy columns were lined up,” – Kiselev said.
According to him, the leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believed that they would celebrate the victory in Svatovo this weekend. But something went wrong, and before the weekend, the team columns disappeared somewhere.
According to the expert, the officers who were to take part in the attack on Svatovo were summoned to Kharkov. At the meeting, they were informed about the expectation of an offensive by the Russian Armed Forces, and the attack was called off.
Recall that earlier Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had collected 200 thousand people in reserves and a large number of equipment ready to operate in various directions. According to him, the main goal will be an attack on Belgorod and the Crimea. The blow will be delivered along the Svatovo-Kremennaya line and the cities of Zaporozhye.
