Residents of the Adygean capital took part in a large-scale community work day, the Maikop administration announced on March 25 on the Telegram channel.
During the event, thanks to the efforts of Maykop residents, 243 cubic meters of garbage were collected and taken to the city landfill, 13.3 hectares of the city and adjacent territories were cleared of garbage and weeds.
The Republican subbotnik rallied over 8,300 supportive Maykop residents. Labor collectives, employees of the municipal administration, ministries and departments, TOS activists, youth, volunteers and the general public attended. 16 teams are also involved.
It should be recalled that earlier the head of the republic Murat Kumpilov announced the republican month of cleaning on the territory of all municipalities of Adygeya and instructed the heads of municipalities, together with housing and communal services companies, to prepare all resources Necessary for organizing subbotniks.
