Residents of the city districts of Rostov-on-Don and the region announced loud sounds on social networks around 1 am on March 25.
At around 00:50 on the night of March 25 in Novoshakhtinsk, residents heard a loud sound similar to an explosion. On social networks, people said that the sound was heard in the Novaya Sokolovka, ZhBK, Lebedeva, Zapadnaya districts.
“Yes, every day I hear how the exercises in the training ground and frequent bakhi-boukhi, and the applause resonates well”– said one of the commentators. Another noted that there was a very loud sound in Chaltyr, near Rostov-on-Don.
The sound was also heard in the Suvorov residential area of Rostov-on-Don and the city of Shakhty, a 161.RU correspondent reported.
Subscribers of the public “Rostov Glavny” reported a roar around 00:50, which was heard in the settlements of the Myasnikovsky and Radiono-Nesvetaevsky districts and in the north of the city of Rostov-on-Don.
It should be noted that the head of the Azov administration, Vladimir Rashchupkin, said that the authorities are investigating the origin or causes of the explosion.
