The Kataib Hezbollah group issued a warning to Americans about the use of force in Iraq on March 26, the Mehr news agency reports.
Abu Ali al-Askari, a senior Kataib Hezbollah security official, made a statement on Press TV. He claimed that the group would directly attack US bases if they attacked the positions of Iraqi anti-terror groups.
Askari congratulated Syrian pro-government forces for launching missile attacks against illegal US military bases in the country’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province. In his opinion, such actions are in line with the efforts of the Syrians to restore their rights and natural resources, which are being plundered by US troops.
“Your comrades played no role in the recent attacks on US military bases in eastern Syria.”He noticed.
Remember, the Americans reported that on March 23, a kamikaze drone struck their base in the Hasaka region of northeast Syria. In response, the United States, by order of the US president, launched strikes against targets in eastern Syria.
The Americans reported that the objects they attacked are connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Syrian sources say the attacks targeted a rural development center and a grain center in the Khrabash district, near the Deir ez-Zor military airport.
After the US attacks, a military base of US troops in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor came under rocket fire.
It should be noted that on March 26 it became known that the Iraqi group Al-Ghaliboun Brigade claimed responsibility for the March 23 attack on US forces.
