The shelling of civilians in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was a continuation of the violation by the Azerbaijani army of the line of contact between the parties, Armenian parliamentarian Tigran Abrahamyan said on March 26 on his Facebook page (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).
“Yesterday’s advance of the Azerbaijanis and the aggression undertaken have already manifested itself today in various sections of the Martuni region of Artsakh in the form of open fire from Azerbaijani positions”Abrahamyan said.
According to him, this is not the first time that civilians carrying out agricultural work in fields and gardens have been attacked. The parliamentarian called on the Artsakh authorities to realize that quick solutions need to be found.
“Otherwise, Azerbaijan’s aggression becomes more and more dangerous”– stressed the Armenian parliamentarian.
He noted that the “ostrich policy” of the authorities of the Republic of Armenia cannot be an excuse for the insufficient activity of the President of Artsakh. “The problem requires serious and systematic work, but the efforts in this regard are not felt”Abrahamyan concluded.
Remember, on March 26, the Artsakh Ministry of Interior reported that the Azerbaijani army opened chaotic small-arms fire at civilians in the villages of Sos and Takhavard, who were doing agricultural work.
On March 26, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported a violation of the ceasefire regime in the Martuni region of Nagorno-Karabakh, which was recorded by Russian peacekeepers.
