The guests and participants of the Sambo Founders Cup received good impressions in the new Moscow International SAMBO Center. Dmitry Troshkin, head coach of the Russian national sports sambo team, spoke about this on March 26, TASS reports.
“Everyone was impressed with the scope and beauty of the new SAMBO Palace: training and warm-up rooms, lighting, carpets, decoration, everything is smart”– said the head coach of the national team.
He added that the new SAMBO center will become a place where athletes from all over the world will come. In addition, the head coach connected the home atmosphere and beautiful wrestling with the positive assessment of the Cup participants to the founders of SAMBO.
In addition to Russian athletes, the sambo competitions were attended by participants from Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Morocco, Moldova, Nicaragua, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Serbia and Uzbekistan.
It should be remembered that on City Day the International Center for SAMBO and Boxing was opened in Luzhniki. This is a unique building, which in terms of its functional content has no analogues in the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin toured the new building, attended a sambo tournament and spoke to the athletes.
