An attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to conduct combat reconnaissance in the southern direction of Donetsk was stopped by units of the Vostok group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, said the head of the group’s press center, Alexander. Gordeev, on March 27, reports RIA Novosti.
“In the South-Donetsk direction, the units of the Vostok group prevented an attempt to conduct a valid reconnaissance of the forward positions of our troops”Gordeev said.
As a result of the actions of Russian motorized rifles with the support of artillery units, up to 30 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
In addition, air defense teams shot down three projectiles of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, as well as three UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: one “Valkyrie” and two “Furies”.
Remember, on March 26, Gordeev announced the destruction of APU howitzers in the South-Donetsk direction with the help of the Russian complex.
It should be noted that on March 26, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the losses of the enemy in the South-Donetsk direction amounted to 60 people.
